Entrance to the Santa Claus Land of Lights is at the main entrance of Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort.
From Interstate 64
Take Exit #63 and drive south on Highway 162 for 7 miles, until 162 comes to a "T." Turn right and head up the hill. At the flashing caution light turn right onto Highway 245 and go past the Holiday World main gate. You'll see the entrance to Lake Rudolph on your right.
From Bloomington, Indiana
Take Highway 37 south to Bedford, then go west on U.S. 50 to Loogootee. Next go south on U.S. 231 to Jasper, continuing south on Highway 162 through Ferdinand and into Santa Claus. When 162 comes to a "T," turn right onto Highway 245 and drive up the hill to the flashing caution light. Turn right onto Highway 245 and go past Holiday World's main gate. You'll see the entrance to Lake Rudolph on your right. (Approximate travel time: 2 hours and 12 minutes)
From Owensboro, Kentucky
Get on U.S. 231 north, which will take you into Indiana. Follow U.S. 231 into the town of Gentryville. At the flashing caution light, which is the junction of Highway 162, turn right onto Highway 162. Follow approximately five miles into Santa Claus. At the second flashing caution light turn left onto Highway 245 and go past Holiday World's main gate. You'll see the entrance to Lake Rudolph on your right. (Approximate travel time: 40 minutes)
From Indianapolis, Indiana
Take I-65 south, nearly to Louisville. Take I-265 west to I-64 west. Drive west on I-64 for nearly an hour, then take Exit 63. Turn left (south) onto Highway 162 and drive 7 miles. When 162 comes to a "T," turn right onto Highway 245 and drive up the hill to the flashing caution light. Turn right onto Highway 245 and go past Holiday World's main gate. You'll see the entrance to Lake Rudolph on your right. (Approximate travel time: 3 hours)
From Louisville, Kentucky
The Sherman Minton Bridge is closed for repairs. Take I-65 N from Louisville, Kentucky, to I-265 West to I-64 West. Continue west for just under an hour. Take Exit 63 and turn left (south) onto Highway 162; drive 7 miles until the road comes to a "T." Turn right onto Highway 245 and drive up the hill to the flashing caution light. Turn right onto Highway 245 and go past Holiday World's main gate. You'll see the entrance to Lake Rudolph on your right. (Approximate travel time: 1 hour)
From Nashville, Tennessee
Take I-65 to Bowling Green, Kentucky. Then take the William Natcher Parkway to Owensboro, Kentucky. Get on U.S. 231 north, which will take you into Indiana. Follow U.S. 231 into the town of Gentryville. At the flashing caution light, which is the junction of Highway 162, turn right onto Highway 162. Follow approximately five miles into Santa Claus. From Paducah, Kentucky
Take I-24 east to the Western Kentucky Parkway; continue east to the Pennyrile Parkway. Exit at Henderson and go north to Evansville, Indiana. In Evansville take I-164 north to I-64 east. Take Exit #63 and drive south on Highway 162 for 7 miles, until 162 comes to a "T." Turn right onto Highway 245 and drive up the hill to the flashing caution light. Turn right onto Highway 245 and go past Holiday World's main gate. You'll see the entrance to Lake Rudolph on your right. (Approximate travel time: 3 hours)
From St. Louis, Missouri
Drive on I-64 east for approximately 3 hours; take Exit #63 and drive south on Highway 162 for 7 miles, until 162 comes to a "T."
